Top 18 Scholarship Opportunities for Asean Students

Are you an Asean student on the lookout for scholarship opportunities to further your study? We have made numerous effort to give you a detailed list of scholarship opportunities that abound for Asean students to study and even further it if they choose.

Asean is an abbreviation which connotes; Association of South Eastern Asian Nations. There are ten nations that are under the umbrella of Asean which are; Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Brunei and Laos.

With a joint population of just over 500,000 and a GDP(PPP) in which the highest is a little bit over thirty million USD, its not so difficult to understand why the poverty rate is still high in some Asean countries.

The Asean nations have a strong affinity towards education as they boast of over thirteen Universities replete with opportunities to study. This has aroused the interest of both government and private organizations as they seek to support these students in any way possible, either through scholarships, grants and funds.

However, with their keen interest and desire, Asean countries will be one of the most sought after Nations in the world due to their rapid development in all areas especially science and technology.

I remember my  friend Ryan, who found it difficult to graduate from the University because of the costs of tuition fees and some other minor payments that he was meant to pay, but he couldn’t due to his poor financial state.

I believe it was because he was ignorant of fully funded scholarships. Whenever we spoke through the phone or even chatted across social media networks, he always bitterly complained of his predicament.

This bordered him a lot as he found it very difficult to cope with the requirements, especially procuring the necessary materials for his studies. He scaled through with much pain and difficulty at last.

We can’t all determine where we come from, but we can determine where we go. So this is why this article is dedicated to you so as to help you be aware of the scholarship opportunities that you can partake in and rid yourself of worries that are birthed from financial challenges while studying.

Therefore, here is a detailed list of scholarship opportunities that the average Asean student can take advantage of
