What you need to know about the Scholarship:
The Rudd Foundation scholarship covers any remaining cost after all other aid, grants and scholarships have been applied and gives preference to first generation and underrepresented students.
“We aren’t just looking for great students; we’re searching for those with a real commitment and drive to achieve something larger,” said Rudd Foundation President Peter Najera. “Our scholars will appreciate that this isn’t just a grant to pay bills, but a lifetime opportunity to achieve their potential if they continue to work hard.”
Rudd Foundation scholarship Qualification requirements:
- To qualify, students must qualify for a Pell Grant, be Kansas residents who attend Emporia State, Fort Hays State or Wichita State University and
- They Sudents shoul have a 3.0 or better high schooll GPA.
The scholarship covers tuition and fees, books and supplies, and room and board.
